ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! When my kids were little, my oldest asked why Jesus didn't get a birthday cake -- so we made him one and sang Happy Birthday. It was a tradition that continued every year. The memory of that and my daughter's birthday, which is Dec 21, will always be tied closely together.

If I have to pick a favorite holiday song I think it would be Carol of the Bells, but really, I love so many holiday songs! I also love Bare Naked Ladies (w/Sarah McLachlan) rendition of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen/We Three Kings. I could go on & on! :)

I like "Let it Snow" since we get a lot of snow in Colorado and I'm always hoping for a city wide snow day that shuts everything down. Then we can all site by the window with a blanket and a book. :)
